We started this group yesterday and are working to get it going in Miami first. We plan on getting groups together to tour South Florida in nice big packs, stopping to see at least one cool spot per run.

The first run that we are planning is on Saturday Feb 19 and we’ll be stopping at the Miami Design District Graffiti Walls (visible from I-95 Northbound near 25th street).

The OVERALL Idea Here: This is the first “trial” run/meet for a much bigger vision. In this run we’ll cover 3 stops in South Florida. Starting in South Miami we’ll take a 30-45 minute ride through Miami’s back roads checking out Old Cutler Rd, pass by the Coco Plum Circle, through Coconut Grove and onto I-95 Northbound. Our next stop will be in infamous Miami Design District Graffiti Walls where we’ll explore the urban art walls and shoot some pics of our rides with the graffiti as our backdrops as the sun begins to set in the West giving us great lighting. Next well hop back on I-95 and navigate the highways to US-27 & I-75. A short run down US-27 will land us at Everglades Holiday Park and when it’s time to ride out we’ll jump back on US-27 for easy North or South access back home.

Long Term: I look forward to having participants suggest more stops for us to add to our runs and eventually we’ll have enough people that a handful of us will be down for some longer runs, maybe Miami to Atlanta. With good organization we can stop and pick-up riders in a cities along the way. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll do a run across the U.S.
